THAT’S ABOUT TO CHANGE
Should make my videos more fun to watch because I’m gonna be abusing the SHIT out of these every chance I get.
Right now the weak little “waaahhh” it makes doesn’t produce any level of “GET OUT OF MY WAY” or “LOOK WHAT YOU DONE DID WRONG” authority. SO I barely use it. And when I do, people don’t even seem to notice.
But they’ll notice THESE.
I hope.

The horn in the 4Runner is very weak.

I wish they weren’t so darn expensive, otherwise I’d have leeway to test things like “is a 24V Supertone horn low even lower when operated on 12V, and does it burn up faster?” “Will a 24V turn over properly on 12V or would I have to step voltage to 18V?” Stuff like that. Otherwise I would totally go with a 12V low and a 24V low on the same car to make it sound like some kind of tugboat in the fog. Heck, I may do that anyway.
Also, there are people who are crazy into horns. Mostly in the Philippines and such like.

My brother is gonna get a new horn for his 98 Altima because EVERYBODY makes fun of how quiet and pathetic it sounds.

One thing I hated about my 3 was its clown car horn.

I don’t like it either, but it’s better than the horn on my Fiero. That one got made fun of every time I used it.

i wish there were two horns on cars. 1 (quiet) for pedestrians or a generall “um are you going to move” and 2 (louder) hey asshole you just cut me off.

Some cars do just that, but for the alarm. They can be wired to be used together or independently with some wiring trickery.
